Saving Homes for Potbellied Pigs

 

My name is Rebecca DiNolfi and I am and have been an international zoning consultant for the pet potbellied pig since 1995. Unfortunately the potbellied pig is not legal to have in most municipalities. If they are not mentioned specifically in any law they will be lumped under the livestock laws and this is where the problem arises. I have found over the years that most cases that I get actually have nothing to do with the potbellied pig at all. The owner is turned in to the authorities, because of a neighbor against a neighbor and they use the pig to get even.
